Terms & Conditions / Session Agreement – Dog Portrait Promotion 2025

What’s included
The Dog Portrait Promotion fee is a $35 donation per dog, with 100% of proceeds benefiting SOS Animal Rescue of Midland County.
Your session includes a private, relaxed portrait experience with Kathy, her time and artistry, use of studio props and sets, and plenty of treats, laughs, and wagging tails.

What’s not included (sold separately)
Artwork, printed products, and digital files are not included with your session. Heirloom wall portraits, fine-art prints, mixed-media oil paintings, and digital images may be purchased à la carte after your session.

Booking & payment
Your donation is due at booking to reserve your session time. Sales tax applies where required.

Multiple pets
You’re welcome to include more than one dog in the same portrait. We ask that you contribute an additional $35 per dog (donated to SOS Animal Rescue). There is no extra session fee for Kathy’s additional time.

Rescheduling, cancellations & refunds

Full refund if canceled 7+ days before your session.

Within 7 days: fees (donations) are non-refundable. If your dog becomes ill or injured last-minute, we’ll happily reschedule your session or credit your payment toward a future session. Credits are non-transferable and have no cash value.

No-shows or late arrivals shorten your session time and are not refundable.

Safety & supervision
Owners are responsible for the behavior and safety of their pets at all times. Please ensure dogs are leashed or safely contained when entering and leaving the studio.

Artwork purchasing
All artwork and digital products are custom-made and final once ordered. Because each piece is individually created for you, all sales are final.

Creative discretion
Kathy retains full artistic judgment over styling, lighting, posing, and retouching. Final color and brightness may vary slightly across screens and printed media.

Copyright & usage
Kathy Morley Studio retains copyright to all images. We may elect to display select images on the studio website, social media, or promotional materials. Please inform us in writing if you do not wish your images to be used for marketing purposes.

Force majeure
If events beyond our control (such as illness, weather, or technical issues) require rescheduling, we will offer a new session time. Our liability is limited to amounts paid.

Governing law
This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Michigan.

Session fee (donation) covers session time only; artwork and products are sold separately.
