Fun, low-stress sessions full of treats, laughter, and wagging tails.
After photographing over a thousand dogs, trust me — there’s no such thing as “too wiggly.” Whether your pup sits like a statue or can’t stop chasing their tail, we’ll capture the magic that makes them them.
Every session helps support the SOS Animal Rescue of Midland County — one portrait at a time.
Your dog gets to shine, and together we help provide food, medical care, and comfort to animals in need.
My studio has been in Midland, Michigan for over two decades, where I’ve spent my days doing what I love most — creating portraits made to hang, not just to post.
I’m a full-time photographer and portrait artist… and a lifelong dog lover. Over the years, I’ve photographed more than a thousand dogs (and a few cats — though let’s be honest, cats make their own rules).
This fall’s Art of Dogs event is close to my heart. I’m partnering with SOS Animal Rescue of Midland County to help support their ongoing work — one portrait at a time.
Dog hair on my clothes? Always. Heart full? Absolutely.
Absolutely! I’ve photographed plenty of canine best friends together.
I simply ask for a $35 contribution per dog to the rescue — but there’s no extra session fee for my time. Just more treats, more tail wags, and more fun!
You don’t need a photo session for that.
You can commission a painting from your
favorite photos — and if you’d like,
still make a contribution to SOS Animal
Rescue to help other animals in their honor.
The beauty of a memorial painting is that I can place your dog in any environment you love — a sunlit field, a quiet beach, or a simple, elegant head-and-shoulders portrait that keeps their spirit close.
Yes… reluctantly. They make their own rules, but if your cat will tolerate the camera, I’ll happily photograph them (and maybe we can bribe them with a few of their favorite cat treats, too).
Of course! Whether it’s a family portrait, a quiet cuddle, or a “who rescued who?” moment — I love including the people who love them most.
Yes! All sessions are scheduled early enough to ensure portraits are ready in time for the Valentine's Day.
Paintings will take a bit longer.

CAN PEOPLE BE IN THE PHOTO, TOO?

CAN I INCLUDE MORE THAN ONE DOG?

Your message just made my tail wag. 🐶
I’ll be in touch soon to plan your session (or chat about your painting ideas).
Until then, go give your pup an extra treat — they totally deserve it.
Maybe it's the beach you both loved. Maybe it's that look in their eyes. I can start from the photos I take in the studio - or from your own snapshots - and design a scene that feels like them and looks perfect in your home.
Then I bring it to life with hand-applied oils for richness and texture. The result? A piece of art that keeps your best friend close, forever.
